About Us

Perfectly situated between Mudgee and Gulgong, Beaudesert –  offers three accommodation offerings on and close by to our historical property. 
Guests can choose from a farm stay style holiday at the charming Beaudesert Cottage or a deluxe retreat at Kanimbla Guesthouse or a unique stay at The Junction Inn.

Beaudesert was established in the early 1830’s and the fertile property continues to produce beef cattle and sheep for wool. It is home for Peter, Claire and their 5 children.

Beaudesert is located on the Cudgegong River between the townships of Mudgee and Gulgong, meaning guests have easy access to everything both towns have to offer or alternatively a private escape away from it all. 
For wine lovers, the Gooree Park Cellar door is nearby and for those of you who wish to explore the many other wineries and attractions that Mudgee and Gulgong have to offer, door to door wine tours can be arranged. 

Beaudesert can be used as a base for discovering all the region has to offer or simply stay and enjoy a hike to the top of the mountains for amazing views, observe farm activities or stroll along the river, fish or pack a picnic and choose your favourite piece of the river and just relax.

Beaudesert is perfectly located for a day trip to the Dubbo Taronga Zoo, just ask for our "regulars" opinion on how to get the most out of your visit.

Beaudesert is a visual feast for any artist, we regularly host the Plein Air group who enjoy the diverse range of "objects".

Our property may just be the perfect backdrop for a country wedding or special occasion. All accomodation can be booked together as a group and guests can enjoy being relatively close by (5km).
